Fabrication Operator-1st Shift Prefinish-4 On4 Off

SUMMARY

This is a 4 On/4 Off-10 Hr. Shift-5:30am-4:00pm

Rate of Pay-$22.01-$24.99 plus $.10 Shift Differential

With direction from the shift supervisor this position will support the post extrusion operations including but not limited to Zuri trim folding fabrication cutting and packaging. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery loading and offbearing material cutting material product inspection packing and operating a forklift to move in-process and finished product. The mix of duties will vary based on production needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include but are not limited to the following:

• Set up and operation of Zuri fold machine
• Set up and operation of molder
• Set up and operation of corner fold machine
• Meet daily production rate set by management
• Follow quality specifications and maintain level of quality consistent with standards
• Comply with and enforce safety and environmental policies and standards
• Identify potential safety risks and take corrective action in accordance with established safety rules
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy
• Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers supervisors and managers
• Perform other duties as assigned to satisfaction of Production Supervisor

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Proficient with label printing software
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
• Ability to read digital calipers
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to use a stapler bander and safety knife
