Job Summary
The Extension Intern 4-H Youth Development Eagle County is responsible for working with the 4-H Extension Staff and assisting in the organization and delivery of the Eagle County 4-H County Fair coordination. Primary job duties include assisting with the 4-H program and working with adult and youth volunteers in the design and implementation of educational programs. Qualified applicants must be 18 years old and possess organizational leadership and communication skills computer skills with Microsoft Office access to transportation adequate for the job responsibilities and the flexibility to work weekends and evenings. Current Eagle County 4-H members are not eligible to apply for this position.

The Office of Engagement and Extension (OEE) was organized in 2006 to advance CSUs engagement and outreach missions. To learn more visit our website at Job Duties Assist Eagle County 4-H staff with planning coordination and implementation of 4-H educational programs activities and events for livestock horse small animal and general projects. Support Eagle County Fair operations including show clerking event logistics ribbon and supply distribution judging support fair setup and teardown and assisting during livestock and non-livestock events. Work professionally with 4-H youth families volunteers judges and community partners while serving as a positive role model and providing general program support as assigned by Extension staff. Must have a valid drivers license or the ability to obtain a drivers license by the employment start date. The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; OEE will not sponsor a visa for this position. This position has no supervisory responsibility. Must be at least 18 years old and not a current Eagle County 4-H member. Strong organizational communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with youth parents volunteers and staff.
