Extended Day Academic Support Program Coordinator 2026-2027

QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Valid teacher certification; 2) Teaching experience; 3) Knowledgeable in current educational trends; 4) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Committee may find appropriate and TO: High School Principal and/or GOAL: Provide on-going supervision and coordination of the Mt. Hope High School After-School Academic Support RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides leadership and supervision necessary for the operation and improvement of the After-School Academic Support Program;Responsible for organizing collecting and disseminating weekly After-School Academic Support Program Progress Reports to the appropriate parties; Recruits and schedules after-school tutors; Assists in scheduling students in the After-School Academic Support Program; Assists in evaluation the academic integrity of the support program; Supervises the reports and monitoring of all student attendance in the After-School Academic Support Program; Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body and deals with special cases as necessary; Serves as a liaison between students tutors classroom teachers guidance counselors coaches athletic director/activity coordinator and administration; Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal and/or Assistant Principal may from time to time OF EMPLOYMENT: Approximately 12-15 hours per week for 36 weeks of the school year.
