Job Summary
Express Service Advisor
- Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document requested services and vehicle concerns.
- Open and maintain repair orders using dealership computer systems.
- Perform basic vehicle walk-arounds and document the vehicles condition.
- Recommend routine maintenance and services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs.
- Communicate with technicians and the Service Department to ensure customer concerns are properly addressed.
- Provide customers with updates regarding the status of their vehicle.
- Explain recommended services repairs estimates and completed work in a clear and professional manner.
- Review repair orders with customers and obtain necessary approvals before additional work is performed.
- Help coordinate Express Service operations including oil changes tire services brakes batteries filters inspections recalls and other routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information.
- Follow dealership and Ford policies procedures and customer-service standards.
- Help ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience from vehicle drop-off through pickup.
- Assist with scheduling future maintenance and service appointments.
- Maintain a clean organized and professional service-drive environment.
- Work closely with Service Advisors technicians parts personnel and management to provide an exceptional customer experience.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software.
- Ability to explain information clearly to customers.
- Basic automotive knowledge is helpful butautomotive experience is not required.
- Previous customer-service retail sales or automotive experience is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the dealership.
