Express Lube Technician

Job Summary
The Express Lube Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance services quickly accurately and safely while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in automotive service and provides opportunities for training and advancement within the dealership.
- Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Complete tire rotations tire pressure checks and basic tire inspections.
- Inspect and replace air filters cabin filters windshield wiper blades and other maintenance items as needed.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids including coolant brake fluid power steering fluid and windshield washer fluid.
- Inspect batteries belts hoses lights and other basic vehicle components.
- Recommend additional maintenance or repairs by reporting inspection results to the service advisor.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
- Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
- Follow all dealership safety policies environmental regulations and manufacturer procedures.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with additional shop duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Strong work ethic reliability and willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand bend kneel and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to varying temperatures noise and automotive chemicals.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate tools and equipment.
