Job Summary

As The Export Compliance Specialist you will:
- Perform export-control review licensing support documentation and coordination for sensitive defense information technology and technical data.
- Evaluate proposed releases and transfers apply applicable regulatory and Government guidance and support licensing application and review processes in multinational or partner-facing environments.
- Collaborate with security legal engineering disclosure and program stakeholders to identify restrictions document decisions and protect controlled information while enabling authorized mission activity.
Through disciplined records compliance monitoring and timely issue resolution the Export Compliance Specialist helps ensure that export-related actions are properly reviewed approved traceable and integrated with program execution without compromising protected capabilities or information.
- Review proposed exports transfers technical exchanges and data releases for compliance with applicable export-control requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate licensing applications supporting documentation proviso reviews and related approval actions.
- Analyze technical information and release requests to identify restrictions control considerations and required safeguards.
- Coordinate export matters with Government stakeholders legal counsel engineers security personnel and international support teams.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses approvals limitations correspondence and completed export-compliance actions.
- Monitor authorized activities for adherence to license conditions release guidance and approved handling procedures.
- Develop and update export-compliance procedures review tools briefings and awareness materials.
- Resolve export-control questions and recommend compliant courses of action that support authorized mission objectives.

- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing applications and review process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft programs and systems
- Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government contractor and external stakeholders; prepare briefings reports standard operating procedures and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
- CLEARANCE: Active Secret clearance; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.
