Job Summary

The Hunt School of Nursing seeks a qualified applicant for an Experiential Lab Coordinator. This is a 9-month non-tenure track campus-based position with summer requirements.

Responsibilities:

The Experiential Lab Coordinator has faculty status and all the rights and responsibilities pertaining to faculty within the Hunt School of Nursing. The Experiential Lab Coordinator is responsible for planning coordinating and administering campus laboratory experiences for students to support all nursing programs. The Experiential Lab Coordinator will collaborate with faculty to ensure safe effective simulation and laboratory activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of supplies utilizing appropriate software applications and programming simulations providing oversight of Student Lab Assistants and serving as a student advisor.

Required Credentials:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution

Required Qualifications:

Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina a compact state or be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.

Minimum of two years of employment in direct client care as a Registered Nurse.

Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills

Simulation experience
