Join our Water Resources team at Olsson a leading engineering firm actively seeking a dedicated Experienced Civil Engineer. The Water Resources team offers its clients a full spectrum of water services including a complete line of planning design permitting and construction phase services. This position assists with generating ideas and creating designs that provide purposeful high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs.

Primary responsibilities:
Perform various tasks immersing you in practical experience and exposure to diverse engineering facets methods and programs
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for floodplain modeling and mapping
Engage in design and management tasks for stormwater projects including channel stabilization/restoration storm drain systems culverts and water quality features
Innovate and introduce new ideas to projects showcasing your creativity and initiative
Qualifications

Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well with a team
Bachelors degree in civil engineering environmental engineering or a related field of study
Minimum of two years of experience
Must possess Engineer Intern (EI) or (IE) certificate
Proficiency in Civil 3D and HEC-RAS modeling software
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Aspiration to advance and evolve in the field of water resources engineering
