Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned supervisor provide tutoring and/or homework assistance offer an array of academic enrichment activities and organize safe constructive alternatives for students. Tutors work responsibly to perform a variety of instructional services and clerical support activities within a well-defined framework of policies procedures and objectives; and do other related work as required.
Expanded Learning Tutor I no degree; II AA or AS degree; III BA or BS degree. Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly pass an Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test with a score of 70% or higher in the areas of Math Reading and Writing or provide High School Proficiency verification;Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings of the following documents are required for this position:Letter of IntroductionLetter(s) of Recommendation (One-to-three letters of recommendation at least one from within the past year.)Resume
