Job Summary
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to responding to emergency events medical & non-medical issues incident detection observation physical security overwatch and reconnaissance to assigned clients staffing deficiencies and handling client requests in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail someone who works independently on assignments and has the ability to liaise and coordinate with supporting or adjacent teams agencies or vendors to ensure clients security requirements are met in a timely and professional manner. The individual selected must be flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations with sound judgment as well as have the ability to perform their duties on a national and international level.

Base Hourly Rate: $45.00-$55.00
Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts / Monday - Friday available / Day / Grave shifts available

What you will do:
- Executive & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary security liaison for C-suite executives key stakeholders and high-profile clients translating complex security assessments into clear strategic briefings that support high-level decision-making.
- Strategic Risk Advisory: Conduct ongoing site risk and vulnerability assessments proactively delivering actionable intelligence and strategic guidance to corporate leadership and client stakeholders.
- Client-Facing Protection & Discretion: Deliver low-profile C-suite-level physical security for assigned C-level C-suite principals and clients ensuring the highest standards of safety diplomacy and operational discretion.
- Incident Command & Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the decisive on-site Incident Commander during critical events managing real-time communication between C-suite stakeholders the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and physical response teams.
- Executive Reporting & Briefings: Produce polished publication-ready incident reports and post-incident analyses for C-suite review detailing suspicious activities system vulnerabilities and continuous posture enhancements.
- Operational Quality & Perimeter Assurance: Direct perimeter integrity protocols badge credentialing and technical security integrators to ensure a seamless highly secure and professional experience for C-suite C-suite principals staff and VIP visitors.
- Threat Mitigation & System Monitoring: Oversee threat detection across Video Management Systems (VMS) Access Control Systems (ACS) and digital alarm monitoring merging technical surveillance with foot and vehicle patrols to neutralize risks before escalation.
- Professional Presence & Technical Leadership: Maintain an immaculate professional appearance an executive-level demeanor high physical fitness and a sophisticated command of modern security technology platforms.
- Develop relationships with clients facilitate collaboration and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team
- Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
- Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points
- Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence
- Screen all incoming mail
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or by vehicle while monitoring access
- Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property
- Prepare reports on accidents incidents and suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
- Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
- Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy
- Be responsible for client and family safety as well as safeguarding client assets
- Conduct ongoing threat risk and vulnerability assessments
- Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner
- Maintain up to date knowledge of local emergency services routes and points of interest within a given area of responsibility
- Operate in a low profile low footprint capacity
- Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines
- Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures
- **Must have current California CCW License**
- Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations during shortages due to vacations call-offs no shows suspensions holidays or other program needs
- Support and staff various positions including but not limited to the following job positions as required: Incident Commander Supervisor Team Lead Residential or Executive Protection Agent.
- Work security at events as needed
- If offered the opportunity are expected to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice and work during high need periods
- Expect to work and support multiple shifts to include; Days Swings and Graves
- Available to Staff multiple locations
- Be familiar and comply with standard operating procedures set by programs and/or clients you may be assisting
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Must have current California CCW License
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws regulations or codes)
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
- Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages is required
- Possess a valid and current driver license
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required
- Ability to work autonomously domestic and internationally
- Have an operational understanding of todays technology across all platforms
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Please be aware that passing the physical agility test (SPAT) is a requirement for this position
- The SPAT is a timed sequence of multiple physical events requiring you to progress along a predetermined path from event to event in a continuous manner until complete
What is desired:
- Military background is a plus
- Security or law enforcement related experience preferred
- Report writing experience preferred
- Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment
- International experience
- Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Intelligence Studies or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Prior Military or Law Enforcement (ODO) experience is highly prioritized.
- Technical Certifications: Formal TECC/TCCC (Tactical Casualty Care) certifications NREMT licensure or experience with advanced tactical medical integration.
- Specialized Training: Experience with Executive Protection anti-terrorism protocols or high-threat driving.
