Job Summary
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and take effective action with sound judgement even in instances of ambiguity. This person must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage a complex and dynamic calendar for a Vice President
- Process expense reports
- Coordinate global schedules travel arrangements and seamless meeting logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and external meetings.
- Organize prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute team events on-sites/offsites and morale activities - managing logistics end to end including space allocation catering and vendor coordination.
- Catering and supply orders
- Collaborate with a team of Executive Assistants - sharing best practices to help improve cross-team processes and day-to-day efficiency.
About the team
Amazons Corporate Development team is responsible for mergers acquisitions and investments across all of Amazons businesses. We partner with business units senior leadership and external companies to uncover new opportunities and potential partnerships. Notable acquisitions include MGM Studios Whole Foods One Medical Ring and Audible.
- 5 years of executive assistant experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience with work space planning/management
- Experience handling administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
- Impeccable attention to detail. Ability to build a strong internal network and communicate effectively with a variety of groups such as senior management peers and outside companies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
