EVS Attendant (1,000 Hiring Incentive)

Reporting to the EVS Supervisor the EVS Attendant is responsible for assisting in providing a superior gaming experience unattainable by our competitor where guests can indulge themselves without apology to provide a clean safe gaming environment for our external and internal customers in accordance with company standards.

Essential Functions

• Cleans offices hallways lobbies lounges restrooms corridors elevators stairways locker rooms and other work areas.
• Clean walls stalls shelving telephones brass rails doors glass mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention.
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Vacuum rugs carpets and upholstered furniture.
• Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metal work.
• Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain assigned areas.
• Able to provide information and directions to inquiring guests.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
• Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
• Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
• Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved
• Must able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop broom etc.)
• Remove trash as assigned
• Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
• Mopping floors

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to sit stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and have the ability to push pull reach bend twist stoop and kneel.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust loud noises and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
• Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
• Must be able to read write speak and understand English

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a flexible shift to include nights holidays and weekends.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.
• Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Required Certification/License

• Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license
