Position Summary:
Undergraduate Admissions at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Events & Engagement Coordinator in Boca Raton FL.
Assists the Director of Engagement and Student Success. Oversees the coordination development implementation and management of on and off-campus Undergraduate Admissions recruitment events for prospective and admitted students and school counselors/advisors which attracts over 15000 participants every year. Serves as the first point of contact for admissions events including coordinating planning and organizing distinctive campus-wide recruitment events.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and maintenance of collaborative working relationships with university and community agencies for support as appropriate including Facilities Student Union and Dining.
Supports and assists with the execution of other admissions/recruitment events including but not limited to transfer international and freshman admissions.
Supervise student employees when deemed necessary.
Partner with the Assistant Director First Impressions to determine tour guide staffing needs and rotation schedules for major recruitment events.
Works with the management team to evaluate the effectiveness and potential of unique events programs/functions.
Use admissions-related software for job functions such as Slate CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Eventbrite etc.
Facilitates the production of marketing communications materials and collaterals for giveaway orders emails and CRM templates.
Maintains membership in CIVSA and utilizes related resources for best practices and idea generation.
Provides support to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in the areas of administration (including public relations) and recruitment.
Supports the activities of the Directors and Assistant Vice President.
Answers phone calls and emails from interested students and/or their family members.
Provides friendly greetings and accurate information to appropriate parties and facilitates follow-up as necessary.
Adhere to Florida Board of Governors Regulations State University System standards for professional conduct and practice and FAU policies.
Provides lobby coverage if needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.PREFERRRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Event planning project management and operations preferably in a university setting.
Candidate must take the initiative in organizing and managing programs and planning new events.
Salary:
$55000 - $58000 Annually.Exempt Administrative Managerial Professional (AMP)
