KRE Security LLC is hiring Event Security Officers for seasonal events throughout the Hershey Harrisburg and State College areas.
Event schedules can vary but were looking for dependable people who want to pick up shifts while theyre available. Some assignments may provide steady work throughout the season based on client needs and your availability.

- Potential for continued work with KRE Security after the seasonal period
- Carpool opportunities may be available from our Hamburg and Harrisburg offices for qualifying assignments

WHAT DOES AN EVENT SECURITY OFFICER DO
You dont have to be a security expert to be successful. We provide the expectations and post orders for each assignment.
Your responsibilities may include:
Maintain a visible professional security presence- Monitor entrances exits and designated areas
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Check credentials tickets or access points when required
- Help enforce event policies and safety procedures
- Provide directions and professional assistance to guests
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity
- Report safety concerns incidents or policy violations
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete required activity or incident reports
- Follow instructions from KRE supervisors clients and event management
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Were looking for people who are:
Dependable and punctual- Professional and comfortable working with the public
- Able to work around crowds and busy environments
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working evenings weekends and varying event schedules
- Calm and professional when things get busy
- Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
Previous experience in security military law enforcement customer service hospitality or event work is helpful but not required.
Applicants must meet all applicable employment requirements and successfully complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding.
WORK WHEN YOU WANT WHEN SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE
This is seasonal event work so assignments and hours will vary based on client needs. The more availability you have the more opportunities you may have to pick up shifts.
