Event Bartender

Miller Hospitality provide innovative cuisine and extraordinary hospitality for over 700 weddings every year across our 16 beautiful venues in the tri-state area.JAM Hospitality is looking for part-time bartenders to work at these weddings and events.

• Prior bartending experience or training is required. You should be knowledgeable of common cocktail recipes have a current RAMP certification and be able to serve a large volume of guests (100).
• You should be able to drive yourself to our venues in the Greater Philadelphia area including Delco county.
• Physical requirements include being able to lift 20 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of an average 9-hour shift (there will be breaks and time for staff to eat).

Responsibilities & Duties

• Setting up your own bar stations and recording alcohol inventory.
• Serving guests alcohol and mixed drinks during cocktail hour and reception.
• Providing wine service hospitality and attending to guests needs as they arise.
• Clean and breakdown of your stations after the event.

Schedule Expectations

• The wedding season runs fromApril to November.
• There are events every Friday Saturday and Sunday.
• A typical wedding shift runs from early afternoon to midnight and lasts between8 to 12 hours.

The typical shift is$150 - $250. Although its not guaranteed youll often receivecash tipsfrom guests at the bar and from the client at the end of a shift.
