If you already work during the day attend school need additional income or simply prefer evening hours this may be the schedule youve been looking for.

Evening client opportunities may be available throughout:

• Northwest DC

• Northeast DC

• Southeast DC

• Southwest DC

You do NOT have to cover all of Washington DC.

Tell us which areas you prefer and which evening hours fit your schedule. Well work to match you with available client opportunities.

As an Evening Home Health Aide you may assist clients with:

• Bathing grooming dressing and personal hygiene

• Toileting and personal care

• Mobility transfers positioning and ambulation

• Preparing and assisting with evening meals

• Medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to client care

• Evening routines and preparation for bed

• Maintaining a clean and safe home environment

• Companionship and emotional support

• Following the clients established plan of care

• Observing and reporting changes in the clients condition

• Helping clients remain safe comfortable and independent at home

• Home Health Aide training or certification as required

• Previous home care personal care or caregiving experience preferred

• Current CPR certification

• Availability for 4:00 PM 8:00 PM and/or 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

• Dependable and committed to scheduled client assignments

• Compassionate patient and respectful

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to follow an established plan of care

• Ability to work independently in a clients home

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations

Evening care is more than just another shift.

For some clients this is when they need the most support.

Dinner needs to be prepared. Personal care needs to be completed. Someone may need help safely moving around the home or getting settled for the night.

And sometimes a client simply needs someone there so they dont have to spend the evening alone.

Your evening availability can give a client comfort dignity and independence while giving their family peace of mind.
