Location: Mclean VA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: $60-$65/hr. on W2 (Depending upon the experience)
Visa: USC GC GC-EAD AND H4-EAD (within 50-60 miles)
MOI: 1 virtual and 1 onsite

Must Have Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Python SQL Power BI and Snowflake
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with AI and Copilot

Job Description:

Role Summary:

• Deliver end-to-end analytics solutions across modern data platforms
• Build and optimize datasets in SQL Server Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric
• Develop analytics in Python
• Deliver executive-ready insights through Tableau and Power BI
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted tools
• Apply strong validation governance and data quality practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements define KPIs and translate business needs into scalable analytics deliverables
• Write and optimize advanced SQL across SQL Server Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric
• Design and maintain analytics-ready data models
• Build and performance-tune dashboards in Power BI and Tableau
• Use Python for analytics automation forecasting and statistical analysis
• Implement data validation and quality controls
• Develop within Microsoft Fabric
• Communicate findings clearly and recommend actions backed by data
• Maintain documentation for metric definitions logic lineage and operational runbooks

Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to:

• Accelerate SQL/DAX generation and refactoring
• Speed up dashboard prototyping
• Draft documentation and data dictionaries
• Support stakeholder Q&A and self-service enablement

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7 to 10 years in data analytics/BI/consulting
• Advanced SQL expertise (CTEs window functions complex joins query tuning)
• Strong experience with SQL Server (T-SQL) and performance optimization
• Experience with Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong dashboard development skills in Power BI (DAX modeling performance) and Tableau
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience using AI-assisted tools
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and independent delivery skills
