What Youll Do

As an Estimator youll play a critical role in helping Klute secure and successfully execute projects by preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.

Youll:

• Review project plans specifications and customer requirements
• Analyze material labor and production costs
• Prepare detailed project estimates and proposals
• Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements
• Organize and maintain project and quote information
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES

Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience

Experience: 1 3 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimating construction manufacturing steel fabrication or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other business software
• Knowledge of structural steel steel fabrication or construction processes is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Extended Sitting and working on the computer; standing and/or walking <15%
• Ability to view computer monitor
• Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
