Location: Hackensack NJ Hybrid. This is a primarily office-based opportunity with hybrid flexibility depending on experience

Note: Candidates must be admitted and in good standing in both New Jersey and New York and must have at least 2 years of exclusive directly relevant experience in estate planning probate/estate administration and/or elder -house counsel backgrounds are not a fit. Solo practitioners may be considered if they have an established book of business.

Job Description

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning strategies wills trusts powers of attorney and related matters.
• Handle probate and estate administration matters from initial consultation through resolution.
• Counsel clients on elder law issues and help families navigate complex planning and administration needs.
• Draft review and revise estate planning and related legal documents.
• Manage client relationships and provide clear practical legal guidance tailored to individual circumstances.
• Represent clients throughout the lifecycle of estate and probate matters while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across the firm on matters that may involve multiple areas of law.
• Develop and maintain a strong client base with meaningful opportunity for business development and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey and New York bar admissions in good standing.
• 2 years of exclusive directly relevant experience in estate planning probate estate administration and/or elder law.
• Strong client counseling drafting communication and case-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
• Strong professional judgment attention to detail and commitment to client service.
• Solo practitioners with an established book of business are welcome to apply.
