Job Description

  • Advise ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans tailored to complex financial family business and tax considerations.
  • Handle taxable estate planning matters requiring strong technical knowledge and sound legal judgment.
  • Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents trusts wills powers of attorney and related instruments.
  • Counsel clients regarding wealth transfer succession charitable planning and other advanced planning strategies.
  • Analyze complex tax and estate planning issues and translate them into practical recommendations for clients.
  • Work directly with clients and collaborate with other professionals including financial advisors accountants and other legal professionals.
  • Manage multiple sophisticated matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail responsiveness and client service.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and help deliver high-quality legal work on behalf of demanding clients.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active Colorado bar license and good standing.
  • 3 years of directly relevant estate and tax planning experience.
  • Strong experience with sophisticated estate planning and taxable estate matters.
  • Experience advising high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families strongly preferred.
  • Big-law Am Law boutique or other sophisticated law firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent legal research writing drafting analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong judgment attention to detail professionalism and client-service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently while working effectively with a team.
