About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Escrow Officer to guide our real estate transactions smoothly across the finish this role youll manage the entire escrow process from contract to closing. Youll serve as the steady hand ensuring every contract detail lender condition and title requirement is met while keeping buyers sellers agents and lenders informed every step of the way.

What Youll Do

  • Manage Escrow Files: Take ownership of residential and commercial transactions from initial contract opening through final closing and disbursement.
  • Prepare Closing Packages: Gather draft and audit key closing documents escrow instructions settlement statements (Closing Disclosures / ALTA) and deeds.
  • Clear Title Issues: Review title commitments and lender guidelines to identify and resolve liens or encumbrances before closing day.
  • Handle the Financials: Balance closing statements collect earnest money order payoffs and safely disburse funds to all parties once the transaction closes.
  • Keep Communication Flowing: Act as the main point of contact for realtors buyers sellers lenders and attorneys to resolve roadblocks and provide clear status updates.
  • Coordinate Signings: Oversee document signings handle notarizations and ensure all legal documents are recorded properly with county authorities.
  • Stay Compliant: Follow all state guidelines RESPA/TRID regulations and internal standards to protect customer funds and data.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience: 2 years managing escrow transactions from start to finish.
  • Licensing: Active Escrow Officer License and state Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain).
  • Software Skills: Hands-on experience with modern title/escrow software (Qualia SoftPro ResWare or similar).
  • Organization & Detail: A track record of catching small details before they become big issues and managing multiple files under tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Clear friendly communicationboth in writing and on the phonewith a knack for keeping tense situations calm.
