We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder / Fabricator to join our this role you will be crucial in keeping our fleet and equipment operational safe and ready for service. Youll perform heavy-duty welding structural repairs and custom fabrication on solid waste equipment and vehicles year-round.

• Competitive Pay: $25.00 $30.00/hr depending on experience.

• Equipment Repair & Maintenance: Perform high-quality structural welding and repairs on waste handling equipment including compactors roll-off containers and dumpsters.
• Vehicle Fabrication: Execute custom fabrication and body repairs on heavy trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Layout & Prep: Safely perform metal cutting torching grinding fitting and surface preparation for painting.
• Safety & Standards: Inspect hand tools maintain shop safety standards and keep a clean organized work environment.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of welding and metal fabrication experience (waste industry or heavy equipment experience is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MIG Stick and torching/cutting processes. Certification in basic welding skills preferred.
• Equipment Knowledge: Ability to safely operate shop equipment grinders and welding tools. Must supply basic personal tools (welding helmet basic hand wrenches etc.).
• Reliability: Strong work ethic dedication to safety and ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs standing bending and stooping).
• License: Valid drivers license required (CDL is a plus).
