  • Shift / Schedule: 3rd Shift SundayThursday 11:00 PM7:30 AM (with 30-minute lunch break); rotational weekend coverage

Job Summary

This role is related to the design production and maintenance of structures systems and components in client production plants and facilities. The technician develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues including problem solving and the assessment of new technologies. The position impacts the effectiveness of the work team through the quality of services or information provided and typically acts as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues. The technician is accountable for the quality of their own work provides solutions to problems based on practice existing precedents or procedures and uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency. Work is completed with a limited degree of supervision. The role typically reports to a Manager or Project Manager (for a defined period of time) based on organizational set-up and may have a lead person for day-to-day guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability capability and yield
  • Perform equipment failure analyses
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment
  • Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures
  • Provide advice on issues including problem solving and the assessment of new technologies
  • Identify key issues and patterns and spot new less obvious solutions
  • Provide solutions to problems based on practice existing precedents or procedures
  • Use discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency
  • Act as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues
Required Skills
  • CMS system experience required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system problems
  • Ability to perform equipment failure analyses
  • Ability to apply engineering standards and procedures
Preferred Skills
  • PLC knowledge is a plus
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Some apprenticeships associate degrees or Journeyman cards are preferred
Required Experience
  • 23 years of relevant experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • PPE boot allowance uniforms standard goggles and hard hat are all provided
  • Standard equipment provided as needed
  • 3rd shift position overnight hours SundayThursday 11:00 PM7:30 AM
  • Rotational weekend coverage required
  • Onsite interviews required
