Reporting to theCustomer Support Supervisor theEquipmentCoordinatorisresponsibleto fulfillinternal and external customer needs as an Equipment Coordinator through a high volume ofcomplex electronic requests (averaging 20 - 30 requests a day) while also handling phone requests(averaging 20 - 30 phone calls a day). The Equipment Coordinator provides unscripted customizedprofessional service with the expectation that theCoordinatorhas sole ownership over the resolutionwithin a 48-hour window. Schedule alternates between 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST and 8:30 AMEST - 5:00 PM EST depending on business needs Monday through Friday.
This position is part of theCorporate ServicesdepartmentlocatedinGlen Allen VAand will beon-site.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Quoting (Specing) equipment such as controller pumps replacement parts and custom
panels
Setting up andmaintainingtanks in internal database
Working directly with vendors for costing and technicalassistance
Handle equipment returns andexpeditesfrom start to finish
Understand process and confirm on average 20 - 30 customer requests through e-mail orfax
Support the sales force to resolve complex situations
Problemsolvedelivery issues probe and fact find for key elements and track orders todelivery
Review customer Purchase Orders (PO) for order entry
Accurately place text-based customer PO and e-mail chain orders
Read and decipher notes in order entry
Follow the escalation procedure for outstanding tasks
Determineappropriate formulato calculatesalesmancost based onChemtreatpricing
Discern commission decisions at order entry time andtake actionas necessary
Determinefreight charge routing and allocation to properly apply freight charges tocustomers.
Phone Support (Back Up Phone Support Team & Ecom Support)
Place phone orders as needed
Read and decipher notes in order entry
Follow the escalation procedure for outstanding tasks
Control the phone calls (direction pace tone)
Diffuse irate callers
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associates DegreeBachelors DegreePreferred
2-3 years of business and/or customer contact center experience preferred
Technical equipment knowledge preferred
Supplemental Responsibilities
Ability to understand lean manufacturing metrics as they relate to daily performance measures
Develop and share best practices with team
Understand and adapt tochangeinprocesses and procedures.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $26.50 - $26.50 USD per hour.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
