Equipment and Small Engine Mechanic

Progressive Roofing is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic with experience in maintaining and repairing small equipment and engines. This position plays a key role in supporting both our regular maintenance operations and our specialty projects which include welding painting spray equipment (Graco) and custom fabrication.

Were in search of an energetic self-motivated and reliable individual with:

• Strong working knowledge of small engine/equipment repair and preventative maintenance

• Basic computer skills

• A flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities

• MondayFriday with occasional Saturdays

• Exact work hours to be discussed during the interview

• Diagnose and repair small engines and various equipment

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections

• Assist with specialty projects including welding fabrication and spray equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

• Communicate effectively with management and team members

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Effective communication with team members and supervisors

• Valid drivers license

• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

• Must be able to climb ladders

• Must provide your own tools

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
