Environmental Services Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring an Environmental Services Worker to join our Environmental Services Department at the Douglas Medical Center in Bolivar Missouri someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Evenings

• Hours: 4:00p.m - 12: 30a.m

What Your Day Looks Like: Environmental Servicesprovides a clean safe environment for patients employees and visitors using prescribed methods in a professional courteous manner.

As an Environmental Service Worker you will be:

• Cleaning all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms nursing units offices clinical areas operating rooms waiting rooms lobbies lounges restrooms and corridors.

• Ensuring all areas are sanitized according to hospital 7 Step Process

• Demonstrating the ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures.

• Notifying the supervisor of necessary repairs

• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment

Qualifications:

Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: N/A

Skills: Service

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Physical Requirements: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation;Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently.
