Environmental Services & Facilities Technician (Part Time, Weekends)

What Youll Do:

This position performs highly skilledhousekeepingmaintenanceandhandymantasks to care for andmaintainthefacilityand grounds. TheEnvironmental Services & Facilities Technicianuses their knowledge ofhousekeeping processespower and manual tools needed to perform tasks in categories such asgeneral janitorialcarpentry plumbing electrical drywallpaintingand mechanical equipment etc. to ensure the buildings are in pristine condition.

• Facility Maintenance & Operations
  • Perform routine rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and process issues independently identifyingand resolving rootcauses
  • Utilize power and manual tools for cutting fitting and assembling as needed for repairs and projects
• Work Order & Vendor Coordination
  • Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submittedby internal departmentsin a timely manner
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs ensuring timelyfollow-up and resolution
  • Oversee food services vendor performance including delivery timelines and quality standards
• Inventory & Supply Management
  • Order medical supplies monitorinventory levels and report on supply status
  • Receive organize and distribute supplies throughout the facility
• Compliance & Environment of Care
  • Report Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety maintenance and operational readiness
• Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep
  • Maintain overall facility cleanliness including floor care general cleaning restroom upkeep and window cleaning
  • Restock supplies and perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support a safe and functional environment

What Youll Bring:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of relevant work experience in the repair and maintenance of a variety of building and mechanical equipment OR3 years experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning
• Working knowledge of: Drywall repair painting minor plumbing and electrical repairs shipping and receiving and door hardware
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated including showing proper documentation or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Companys exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

It would be great if you had:

• Previous healthcare facility experience
• 1 year of experience performing tasks requiring mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of the methods practices materials and tools used in the maintenance
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the use of mechanical equipment and chemicals
