How youll contribute
An Environmental Services Aidewho excels in this role:

• Is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital including patient rooms public areas and offices. This role supports infection control and contributes to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization.
• Must maintain professionalism in interactions with patients visitors and staff.
• Clean patient rooms restrooms lounges offices corridors walls and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum sweep mop scrub and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors sinks and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily.
• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Must maintain professionalism in interactions with patients visitors and staff.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What were looking for
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients visitors and hospital staff.

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

This position does not have a set weekly schedule. Youll be called in to work when extra help is neededsuch as covering for someone handling busy periods or filling gaps in the schedule. Hours can vary from week to week and theres no guaranteed hours.

Salary Range: $24 per hour
