Environmental Inspector Sioux Falls SD
Local candidates only
Epcon Partners is seeking an experienced Environmental Inspector for an active pipeline/infrastructure project in the Sioux Falls South Dakota area.
Candidates must currently reside in the local area no per diem or relocation offered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with environmental permits regulations and project specifications
- Inspect erosion and sediment control measures wetland/waterbody crossings and restoration efforts
- Document daily activities non-compliance issues and corrective actions
- Coordinate with construction crews project management and regulatory agencies
- Ensure adherence to federal state and local environmental requirements (e.g. Clean Water Act SWPPP)
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Environmental Inspector on pipeline or heavy civil construction projects
- Working knowledge of erosion/sediment control and environmental permitting requirements
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Must be local to Sioux Falls SD able to start with no travel/lodging support
Certifications preferred: CPESC CESSWI or equivalent
