• Teach swim lessons following the British Swim School curriculum and teaching methods.
• Ensure the safety of all students during lessons.
• Create a positive fun and supportive learning environment.
• Build relationships with students and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Track student progress and encourage advancement through skill levels.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe pool environment.
• Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.

• Remain in the pool for the majority or entirety of each shift.
• Lift and support young children in the water.
• Work in a warm humid indoor pool environment.
• Ability to bend kneel stand and move throughout lessons.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
