Job Summary

Position Title: MSU Stores TechnicianOglethorpe GAPay Rate: Starting rate $21.24 with opportunity for rapid advancementCategory/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (8am-4:30pm Monday Friday)Weekends and Overtime as requiredAbout The Role:Promote a safe stores work environment and proactively contribute to the departments safety and housekeeping programParticipate in all morning crew safety meetingsManual receiving of all material to the main StoreroomEnter receipts into SAP daily (expectation is for material receipts to be entered the day the item is received)Place stock material into correct bin locationsProcess delivery tickets and pull stock material to support maintenance and mill operations Shared responsibility for maintaining stored items in good condition to support operations & maintenancePickup and/or Deliver materials to the area drop zones within the MillOperate a forklift or delivery cart Research material receipts when discrepancy occurs or in absence of paperwork from vendorConduct inventory counts when requiredProcess outgoing freight with Parcel and/or LTL carriersObtain job family certifications on SAP and Storeroom policy and procedures required (Requirement is to meet SAP functional knowledge standards and certify) Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection hearing protection face mask and fall protection in elevated positions. May be required to work extended hours and must be available for afterhours/weekend duty during annual maintenance shutdowns and upon short ExpectationsEnsure an understanding of quality policy and support efforts for a positive customer experience. Aid in the execution of mill-wide quality efforts as needed to help maintain mill quality You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must be currently 18 years of age or olderEligible for employment in the School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experienceBasic computer skillsAble to function in a team or Warehousing experience preferred to include inspection of incoming materials post entries in SAP and stock in designated of First In/First out inventory practice and stock rotation. Forklift certification a knowledge of MS Office including Word PowerPoint Excel SAP knowledge preferred to include receipts and issuing materials reservations entering and maintaining work orders stock overview and MAC ToolMust be willing to meet the following requirements:Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employmentSubmit to periodic drug screens as a condition of any shift and/or a rotating shift scheduleWork overtime on a regular basis and with last-minute notificationWork holidays and/or weekends on a regular basisWear required safety equipmentAbout Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
