Entry Level Mechanical Engineer (0-3 years exp.)

In this role you will assist in the design and development of precision mechanical components and assemblies use in fuel system control systems used for large industrial and natural gas engines and addition you will becreating and revising 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SOLIDWORKS andsupport prototype development testing validation of products and work closely with Electrical Engineers Machinists Manufacturing personnel to bring new products from concept to production. Other duties include product improvement cost reduction projects engineering documentation BOMs assembly instructions troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of field and manufacturing issues.

• This is a DIRECT HIRE position in San Diego CA and must be worked on site
• Starting pay for this role is in the $70000 to $90000 range
• Candidates MUST BE US Citizens

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BSME 0-3 years of engineering experience
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with machining sheet metal and precision mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with prototyping and testing.
• Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
• Interest in industrial control systems engines or gas turbine applications is beneficial.
