- LOCATION: Reno NV 89506
- POSITION: Contract to Hire
- HOURS: 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am
- PAYRATE: $19.00 hour
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed instructions blueprints or diagrams to assemble components or products.
- Use hand tools power tools cranes and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
- Build wooden pallets and crates according to specifications.
- Measure cut grind and assemble materials with precision and efficiency.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
- Maintain a clean organized safe work area and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Report material shortages equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Assist in other production areas as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen including THC.
- Able to work shift outside under a covered awning.
- Able to use hand tools.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams or assembly instructions.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
- Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools including wood cutting saws.
- Able to learn how to operate basic machinery (ex. Waterjet).
- Able to paint and work with insulation.
- Ability to work independently with direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing warehouse or construction experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Work shift outside under a covered awning.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
