Entry Level Lab Technician

**A COLLEGE DEGREE IS UNNECESSARY FOR THIS POSITION**

Performing basic laboratory testing; preparing media; maintaining equipment; entering data with a basic understanding into theory

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate 
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision 
• Regular attendance and punctuality 
• Perform basic laboratory techniques/analyses or prepare media based on job function 
• Enter data into computer system 
• Maintain/calibrate equipment 
• Prepare and wash glassware 
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner 
• Run autoclave and other equipment
• Receipt of consumables and lab stocking
• Clean incubator chambers
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the US indefinitely

Additional Qualifications:

• Some college science courses
• At least one year experience in bio/pharmaceutical laboratory
• Attention to detail
• able to do repetitive work
• read/follow written instructions
• organize/prioritize workload
• work with others
• perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• organized and logical thinking (i.e. intuitiveness deductive reasoning)
• flexibility
• function under medium stress level

Additional Information :

Available shifts are as follows:

• Sun-Thurs: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm
• Tues-Sat: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm

Position is full-time 40hrs per week with additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply. Up to 25% travel may be required.
