Entry Level IT Support Specialist

Job Summary
Commercial Printing Mailing and Warehousing Company seeking to hire an IT Specialist. We are looking for an entry-level IT professional to provide technical support and help maintain the organizations day-to-day technology operations. This role will assist with troubleshooting hardware software network and user-access issues across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is highly motivated detail-oriented organized and eager to learn with the ability to manage priorities communicate effectively and stay on target with timelines in a fast-paced environment.
A local candidate is preferred. Remote work is currently not available.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a point-of-contact for troubleshooting hardware software and PC related problems.
Log service tickets in Help Desk system and track time.
Performs general administration duties such as creating and managing Users Groups and Permissions.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to desktop computers and printers.
Provides phone support to users running Windows 11 and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and customer specific software.
Install and configure new workstations.
Working knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network environment general networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with general repair and maintenance of laser printers and peripherals.
Must possess the ability to manage roll outs of desktops and laptops and follow up set up procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience installing Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Software including Outlook configuration.
Experience with macOS.
Experience with creating user accounts in a Hybrid Entra and Active Directory environment.
2 years in information technology industry and or related certification (CompTIA. Microsoft etc.).
Takes the initiative to understand technology and how it may impact helpdesk requests.
Able to organize and prioritize assigned duties.
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Strong customer service skills.
Effective communication (verbal and written).
Detail oriented
