The Pittsburghoffice of SmithGroupis looking for aEntry Level Electrical Engineerto join our team.

Working with us you will:

  • Perform analysis design and documentation of building electrical systems including power distribution lighting and fire alarm systems.
  • Develop solutions to challenging electrical issues with integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
  • Design portions of projects under direct supervision.
  • Perform production for assigned engineering work and document changes to engineering drawings as instructed.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and reports.
  • Assist in construction administration as directed.

An ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0 to 3 years of related experience working (such as summer co-op or intern work in the AE field).
  • LEED AP and Engineer-in-Training certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with SKM AGI32 or other electrical systems evaluation programs.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit software.
