Our client specializes in building custom exhibit booths and display structures for trade shows and events. This is a shop-based environment focused on precision assembly and craftsmanship; not residential or commercial construction.

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Exhibit Carpenter / Apprentice Carpenter to assist in the construction and assembly of custom exhibit displays. This role is ideal for candidates with carpentry woodworking or assembly experience who are comfortable working with tools and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and layout specifications

• Measure cut and assemble materials with accuracy

• Build and assemble exhibit booths and display components

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

• Assist with fabrication finishing and installation preparation

• Perform quality checks to ensure precision and craftsmanship

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in carpentry woodworking cabinet making or assembly preferred

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings

• Experience using hand tools and power tools

• Strong tape measure and basic math skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Preferred Experience

• Cabinet making or millwork

• Finish or shop carpentry

• Exhibit or display building

• Assembly or production work using tools

• Sign fabrication or furniture building

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Repetitive use of tools and hands
