Job Summary

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Deputy Manager who is a seasoned leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program through constant interaction with the Government customer technical and business managers and immediate staff subcontractor partners and program support personnel. This role blends technical knowledge with strategic management skills to ensure the stability scalability and efficiency of complex technical environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Program Manager to manage day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program through constant interaction with the Government customer technical and business managers and immediate staff subcontractor partners and program support personnel.
  • Serves as the secondary point of contact for the CO COR Government Task Leads and the federal civilian agency program stakeholders.
  • Advise the Program Manager and help oversee strategic planning fiscal operational procurement and administrative management of the program.
  • Manages project operations to ensure production schedules are met system resources are utilized effectively and proper relationships are established between customers.
  • Help develop budgets schedules performance and risk identification/mitigation on project. Coordinated resolutions to production-related problems.
  • Understand customer requirements to ensure all inquiries are delivered high quality (error free) and are delivered on time.
  • Provide management services including general administrative oversight time accounting. financial tracking cost projection inventory management personnel evaluation and support.
  • Responsible for the preparation of and accountability for all contract deliverables
  • Oversee creation and management of an Integrated Master Schedule for all tasks program management actions reporting requirements and program milestones. Utilize program management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Provide inputs to weekly and monthly performance reports monthly and quarterly statistics or as necessary to the Program Manager to ensure acceptable performance is maintained for all staff supporting the program.
  • Participate in program meetings and be prepared to address or disseminate anything of need concerning customer policies procedures and/or clarifications. Proactively provide continual leadership feedback on key program metrics and contract activities using existing tools and feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelors degree in engineering computer science business management or related field with 12 years experience
  • 12 years of program management experience with related experience as Manager for information technology contracts.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible Management Project Management or equivalent specialized experience with Project Management tools and techniques. Must be able to identify and communicate program risks and recommend mitigation.
  • Experience leading organizations covering End User Services including Tier 0 1 and 2 Service Desk and Field Services across a national user base.
  • Experience leading organizations covering Infrastructure operations and engineering including End point engineering & image build and patching Network Security Storage and backup services email Communication and user collaboration tools Video teleconference File and print servers Remote access Server hosting Monitoring.
  • Experience leading organizations covering all ITIL framework disciplines (Service management change & release management asset management problem management incident management quality etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work and quickly transition across multiple tasks
  • Experience managing multiple contract types
  • Working knowledge of the customer processes programs and policies
  • Expert representational oral and written communication skills including the ability to produce clear logical and concise products
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government
  • Expert skills using MS Office Suite including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated expert ability to effectively work with senior and executive level government staff
  • Vision to develop and execute long-term functional strategies to achieve key business objectives for Peraton and the client.
  • PMP or similar Certification or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Department of Transportation (DOT) experience is desired

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain agency clearance (public trust)

Target Salary Range

$176000 - $282000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
