English Language Arts Teacher for 2026-2027

Sunrise Middle School is a public charter middle school serving the whole child. We are seeking a full-time teacher for English Language Arts. This teacher should have a single subject credential and should be skilled in classroom management and differentiation for both advanced and traditionally underserved students. We are seeking a teacher who understands what immigrant and low-income youth have been through who loves middle school students who is passionate and who knows how to make school relevant to students lives. Candidates must: believe in the potential of each youth; * see each student as college bound; contribute to the creation of a school-wide culture; build close connections with students their families and the school community; and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
