English Instructor

Position:English Instructor (Full-Time) for the 2026-2027 School Year

Certification/Qualifications:The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational communication human relations classroom management team public relations/community and instructional skills. Applicants should have a sincere interest in and a commitment to work with students parents staff businesses community organizations and associate district schools. The instructor will teach various levels of English classes including but not limited to English 10-12 Speech Creative Writing Short Story and Epic Novel.

Applicants should have a Provisional License Professional License Permanent Certificate Provisional Certification or a Professional Certificate in Integrated English to teach the English courses listed above.

Duties: The English Instructor will work closely with the other English teachers to develop maintain and promote the schools English program. The English instructor will plan direct and evaluate English instruction to meet the needs of junior and senior students in career-technical programs. The instructor will also plan direct and evaluate the English curricula to meet the state of Ohios academic content standards and assist with senior.

Contract:2026-2027 full-time contract - 183 contracted days. Contract to begin Thursday August 13 2026.

Salary: Appropriate placement on 2026-2027 teachers salary schedule based on certification education/degree and experience.
