Engineering Technician

This individual will be involved with cutting-edge Cable TV (CATV) head-end equipment and set top box technology. This individual should be a high-energy quick learner who enjoys a hands-on fast-paced work environment.

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:40PM Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:â

• Support and Maintain Test Systems for Testing Consumer Electronicsâin production line
• Troubleshoot test systems and find root cause of problems and resolve
• Analyze technical requirements and effort associatedâwith test systems and products
• Generate engineering documents including schematics diagnostics flowcharts and project status reports
• Configure and Calibrate Test systems
• Monitor Performance of the tester and improve tester performance
• Report software bugs to development team
• Implement new softwares into test systems and upgrade software and hardware as neededâ

Required Skills & Qualifications:â

• Associate degree or B.S. Degree
• Basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronics
• 0-2âyears experienceâin Test Engineering and Production Shop floor experience
• Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems
• Basic knowledge of C C# C Python JTAG CLI or LINUX applications
• UnderstandingâAndroid/iOSâPhones Testingâis a plus
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent analytical written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications

Required Experience

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of Science (Bachelors degree preferred)
• Internship or project experience with test engineering
