Engineering Technician CMT

ESP Associates Inc. is seeking a Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician to perform field testing of construction related materials including but not limited to soils concrete grout/masonry and asphalt.

*Sign-on bonus may be available based on individual experience and certification(s)!

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM ACI AASHTO DOT or other standards
• Perform and document observations of construction
• Review and understand project related drawings and specifications
• Communicate effectively with ESP project staff and project construction team
• Report observations and test results through ESPs field data collection software

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma GED or Associate degree required
• Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil concrete masonry and/or asphalt materials preferred
• ACI Field Grade I Certification preferred
• Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• NICET DOT and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the role
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the companys driving (MVR) policy.
