Engineering Project Manager

The Opportunity

The Engineering Project Manager oversees and manages engineering projects within engineering and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams managing project scope timelines resources and budgets and ensuring projects are completed efficiently effectively and in alignment with technical quality safety and stakeholder expectations.

What you will do

• Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope objectives timelines resources and budgets.
• Coordinate all phases of engineering projects from conception through completion ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
• Lead motivate and support cross-functional teams including engineers technicians and support staff; assign responsibilities set expectations and monitor progress.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
• Oversee the design development and implementation of engineering solutions while ensuring technical standards and quality requirements are met.
• Review and approve technical documentation designs specifications and related project materials.
• Engage with clients suppliers and internal departments to gather requirements provide project updates manage expectations and address changes in scope.
• Identify monitor and manage project risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project success.
• Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations standards and safety requirements while promoting adherence to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field required.
• Masters degree and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Project Manager or in a similar project management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles manufacturing processes project management methodologies industry standards regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize effectively and deliver results under pressure.
• Excellent leadership communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with project management software and tools such as MS Project Primavera or similar systems.
