Essential Responsibilities
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously from proposal through project completion.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering teams to deliver accurate complete and timely drawing plan sets and design packages.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between LPL Solar clients owners and third-party engineering partners.
- Prepare engineering proposals develop project scopes and maintain visibility into engineering backlog and resource requirements.
- Track project schedules milestones deliverables and client requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Document monitor and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) submittals design comments and outstanding project information needs.
- Review engineering drawings calculations and design documents for quality completeness constructability and accuracy.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews with civil structural electrical and energy storage design teams.
- Facilitate project meetings client presentations and design review discussions.
- Communicate project status risks and mitigation strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts by assisting with technical proposals scope development and customer presentations.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and professional service.
- Identify project challenges and proactively develop solutions to maintain schedule and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting engineering quality efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational planning and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Project.
- Proficient in Blue Beam and PDF creation/editing tools.
- Proficient in utilizing Procore.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated proactive and eager to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams clients consultants and project stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as required to support client meetings and project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) system design.
- Experience supporting battery energy storage system (BESS) design and engineering.
- Experience with solar civil engineering design site layout grading drainage and stormwater considerations.
- Familiarity with utility-scale EPC project delivery.
- Experience coordinating third-party engineering consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes standards and industry practices related to solar and energy storage systems.
