Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of electrical engineers developing complex aerospace electronics providing technical guidance and oversight. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Essential Functions:

• Provide leadership and management for product development and sustaining programs and activities
• Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Plan and manage the deployment of resources for multiple projects
• Establish and monitor department budgets
• Encourage and provide opportunities for continued relevant technical training
• Provide technical assistance to Business Development to win new business and drive company growth
• Provide the appropriate skill mix to sustain and grow the business and to meet customer requirements
• Manage the design development and testing of electrical systems components and products to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as MIL-PRF-38534).
• Develop enhance and maintain a core team as well as an external network of consultants contractors and suppliers to support product development
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team ensuring best practices in DC-DC design power systems and hybrid circuit technologies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs including thermal management electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radiation effects.
• Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management

Eligibility Requirement:This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 7 years related experience. 2 years supervisory experience; Demonstrated experience with relevant standards and practices;
• Knowledge: Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures.
• Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish goals based on extensive experience and judgment; Demonstrated ADVANCED skills in all of the following responsibilities: employee development team building business acumen continuous improvement systems and tools project management and communication (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of circuit design and architecture development.
• Education/Certification: BSEE or related field.

Salary range: $168445.20 - $202021. Several factors contribute to actual salary including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities skills training and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
