Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cathodic Protection Engineering team in the Houston region. This role is responsible for managing the technical organization including resource planning engineering quality employee development technical support and collaboration with business development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and manage a team of corrosion engineers.
• Provide technical guidance on engineering principles cathodic protection design material selection survey methods and analytical reporting.
• Recruit train develop and evaluate engineering staff.
• Promote a collaborative work environment and resolve employee-related matters.
• Coordinate engineering resources to support operations and customer requirements.
• Assist in engineering budget planning and resource forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers addressing complex engineering issues.
• Plan organize and assign engineering resources and subcontractors to projects.
• Review engineering surveys designs proposals and project deliverables.
• Visit project sites to provide technical oversight and ensure successful project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
• AMPP Cathodic Protection (CP) Certification.
• Minimum of 8 years of cathodic protection engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or people management experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating with operations and business development teams.
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and database applications.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and engineering tools.
