About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Engineering Manager Data Warehouse Engineering to lead the design and evolution of a modern enterprise data platform built on Databricks and Azure.
You will be responsible for architecting scalable data systems leading a team of engineers and driving best practices across data engineering automation and security. This role blends technical depth with leadership allowing you to stay hands-on while also mentoring and guiding a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering culture
- Design and architect scalable data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Azure
- Build and optimize data pipelines ingestion frameworks and transformation processes
- Implement DevSecOps principles to ensure security compliance and reliability across the data platform
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing deployment and environment consistency
- Drive automation across data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
- Partner with analytics IT and business teams to deliver reliable high-quality data solutions
- Evaluate and integrate modern technologies including AI and machine learning to enhance data capabilities
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse architecture
- At least three years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
- Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks including Delta Lake Apache Spark and MLflow
- Experience building and deploying data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments
- Background in DevSecOps CI/CD and infrastructure automation
- Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare is preferred
- Strong ability to mentor engineers while remaining technically engaged
