Engineering Kitchen Technician – Class 1

Overview:This team member will manage day-to-day operations in the F&B operation stewarding departmental processes budget cost controls departmental staffing and inventory controls. Manage and maintain cleanliness in dish rooms kitchens bar areas back docks maintenance and proprietary night cleaning in accordance to health department policy and Omni expectations. Also stands in for the Executive Steward in his :Schedule and complete equipment and maintain low-pressure boiler for the hot water and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water kitchen steam and air conditioning mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry and maintain swimming pool and pool of all assigned work orders and daily direction for house calls via a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and :Previous maintenance experience required hotel experience and training of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experienceis required commercial refrigeration experience is a experience with response to emergency situations is communication attention to detail time management computer and guest satisfaction skills are ability to stand/walk for long periods of ability to crawl for short periods of ability to bend reach over-head squat kneel for extended periods of ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds ability to utilize step stools and in electrical systems low voltage controls plumbing and gasExperience in reading schematics.
