Job Description Summary
Performs field investigations such as manhole inspection flow isolation smoke testing trunk walk and dyed water testing;Performs and documents closed circuit television ( CCTV ) inspections of sewer laterals;Assists with cleaning and CCTV inspections of sewer mains;Assists with the inspection and cleanup ofsanitary sewer overflows (SSOs);Performs QA/QC of consultant/contractors inspection submittals;Assists with the reviews of CCTV inspection videos and makes recommendations for rehabilitation reconstruction and maintenance.
Essential Functions
Performs field investigations such as manhole inspection flow isolation smoke testing trunk walk and dyed water testing; Performs and documents closed circuit television ( CCTV ) inspections of sewer laterals; Assists with cleaning and CCTV inspections of sewer mains; Assists with the inspection and cleanup of sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs); Performs QA/QC of consultant/contractors inspection submittals; Assists with the reviews of CCTV inspection videos and makes recommendations for rehabilitation reconstruction and maintenance; Performs or assists with the installation calibration data collection and maintenance of temporary sewer flow monitors and rain gauges; Ensures that the assigned inspection vehicle is adequately equipped with the proper tools to perform inspections and remains clean and in good condition; Performs inspection of contractors field work ensuring adherence to the WSSCs Operations and Maintenance (O & M) Plan and safety regulations; Assists with traffic control for a variety of sewer inspection projects; Uses MMIS GIS GBA and other software to support the inspection review and sewer rehabilitation programs. Prepares spreadsheets and sewer plans for CCTV contracts; Performs inspections in support of sewer surcharge studies.

Monday Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
