Engineering and Maintenance Manager

About the Opportunity

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead engineering maintenance and facilities operations for a manufacturing environment in Ayer Massachusetts.

This hands-on leadership position will oversee plant engineering and maintenance programs capital projects equipment reliability and facility improvements while supporting safe efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering maintenance and facilities teams to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through implementation and completion.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs CMMS work orders spare parts and equipment reliability.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve production efficiency equipment performance quality and workplace safety.
• Partner with Production Quality Supply Chain and other teams on equipment installations and facility projects.
• Manage department budgets contractors service providers and third-party vendors.
• Lead equipment startups commissioning qualifications troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the facility.
• Hire coach develop and evaluate engineering and maintenance team members.
• Support compliance with applicable GMP food safety ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Provide occasional on-call support and maintain operational continuity as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering maintenance or facilities teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing CAPEX projects preventive maintenance CMMS and equipment reliability programs.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership project management problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide occasional on-call support.

• $140000$160000 annual salary
